Founders Retreat

• Airport pick up and drop off (time windows 12-4pm on the start date and 10am for the last day; otherwise, alternative pick-ups and drop-offs will be arranged for an additional fee)

• Accommodation and breakfast

• Hippo and crocodile boat cruise

• Elephant interaction

• Big 5 safari

• Night safari

• Beach and Bush Horse Ride

• Snorkelling and all equipment.

• All refreshments and snacks during any of the activities 

• International flights to and from King Shaka International, South Africa

• Travel insurance (mandatory – guests must arrange their own cover)

• Visas / passport costs (if applicable)

• Airport transfers outside the scheduled retreat pick-up/drop-off window (e.g., arriving early / leaving late)

• Lunches and dinners, snacks, and personal groceries (unless stated otherwise)

• Alcoholic drinks and additional beverages (beyond what’s included at breakfast)

• Personal spending (souvenirs, shopping, tips/gratuities, etc.)

• Optional add-ons / extra activities not listed as included (e.g., private excursions, spa treatments, extra tours)

• Medical costs (including prescriptions)

• Laundry services

• Phone/data costs (SIM cards, roaming, etc.)

• Anything not explicitly listed in “What’s Included.”

Cancellation

All cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@stluciaunplugged.co.uk by the lead guest who made the booking. Cancellation is effective from the date and time the written notice is received.

Guests may request to transfer their booking to a future retreat date (subject to availability) instead of cancelling. Transfers may be made once per booking.

Deposit

All deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your place on the retreat and cover planning costs and supplier commitments. You may however, request that your spot gets moved to another retreat date but this is not a guarantee.

Balance Payments

If cancellation occurs more than 60 days before the retreat start date, payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded, minus any non-recoverable supplier costs.

If cancellation occurs within 60 days of the retreat start date, 100% of the retreat price is non-refundable.

No-Shows / Early Departure

No refunds will be given for no-shows, missed activities, unused services, or early departures once the retreat has commenced.

Travel Insurance

Guests are required to hold comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, illness, injury, and travel disruptions.

Minimum Guest Numbers

A minimum of 2 guests are required for the retreat to proceed. If minimum numbers are not met 60 days prior to departure, St Lucia Unplugged may:

• Offer transfer to a future retreat date

• Provide a full refund of all monies paid (including deposit)

• Offer an alternative arrangement with guest consent.

Age Requirement

Guests must be 18 years or older to attend.

Insurance & Liability

Travel insurance must cover medical expenses, evacuation/repatriation, trip cancellation, and participation in retreat activities, including safaris, boat cruises, horse riding and snorkelling.

This retreat includes outdoor and adventure activities. Guests acknowledge participation may involve inherent risks, including wildlife encounters, travel by road or boat, physical activity, and water-based activities.

St Lucia Unplugged works with trusted local operators for activities and transport. All services are provided by third-party suppliers, and guests agree to follow all safety instructions.

St Lucia Unplugged is not responsible for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including weather, wildlife behaviour, safety decisions, road conditions, or government restrictions.

St Lucia Unplugged is also not liable for missed flights, illness/injury, or loss of personal property, which should be covered by guest travel insurance.
